  • Lutheran World Federation Scholarship - Geneva (1978 - 1980)

This is a very rare scholarship, awarded to me, to study electronic engineering at the University of Hull, UK.

  • European Union Commission Grant - Brussels (1985-1988)

This is the first and only PhD scholarship in Palestine, where I was selected from 40 candidates from several Palestinian universities for a PhD at the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. The award was administered by the British Council in Jerusalem.

  • Fulbright Senior Fellowship, Stanford University, California (1999-2000)

This is a prestigious award globally won by only three scientists from Palestine in 1999 for research projects in the USA. I received an invitation from the world-renowned Professor A. Paulraj to conduct a research project in his Smart Antennas Research Group (SARG).

  • AMIDEAST Fellowship for Visiting Scholars - Villanova University, Pennsylvania (9 / 2011- 1/2012) and also (6/2012 - 8/2012).

This is a Palestinian fellowship to develop research skills for university professors funded and run by AMIDEAST and the Open Society Foundation in the United States.

  • Palestine Polytechnic University Award - Hebron, Palestine.

Received the prestigious "Abundance in Research Production" award on 24/12/2018.

  • Symposium on Simulation-based Science and Engineering - Ramallah, Palestine

Received the prize for the main presentation on `` Antenna simulation and modeling of internal propagation of radio waves at Palestine Polytechnic University '' during the period 7-9 of March 2019.

  • Award for the best scientific paper in an international conference.

Awarded the best scientific paper at the Jordanian International Conference (IEEE-JEEIT) for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, entitled Automated Linear Book-Scanning System (ALBS), which was held in Amman, Jordan on 9-11 / 2019
