Biography:

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing – Palestine Polytechnic University. He holds a Ph.D. in Nursing Sciences from the Arab American University – Palestine, graduating with highest distinction. Currently, he serves as a lecturer in the Department of Nursing Sciences and is recognized as one of the distinguished academic figures in nursing education and research.

Dr. Qtait has extensive academic and research experience spanning several years in the fields of systematic reviews and applied nursing research. He has authored and co-authored over 51 peer-reviewed articles published in reputable local and international journals. His research covers diverse topics, including improving the quality of healthcare and nursing services, developing performance measurement tools, and assessing patient needs in critical care settings.

In addition to his academic work, he has supervised numerous undergraduate nursing graduation projects, providing academic guidance and research mentorship to ensure high-quality scholarly outcomes. Among his notable achievements is the development of an advanced tool for measuring time management among nursing staff in hospitals, which has contributed significantly to studies on performance efficiency and the enhancement of healthcare service quality.

Dr. Qtait also possesses substantial practical experience in emergency and burn units, and he is a certified trainer in burns management and Prehospital Trauma Care (PTC).

He has actively participated in regional and international scientific conferences, presenting his research findings and discussing the latest advancements in evidence-based nursing and healthcare practices. He has also served on research review committees, playing a vital role in fostering a culture of scientific inquiry among nursing students and encouraging them to publish in high-impact journals.
