Adnan Shehadeh- PhD in TESOL and Teacher Education.
Adnan Shehadeh is currently the dean of College of Humanities and Educational Sciences at PPU. He is the founder and director of PPU Center for Excellence in Teaching and learning, where he is in charge of developing and implementing the university plans in terms of teaching and learning. As an academic developer, he conducted several workshops and training programs on various aspects in higher education such as syllabus design, innovative methods in higher education and assessment in higher education. He participated in several committees that worked on developing policies and regulations for teaching and learning at PPU. He also supervised four international projects on behalf of PPU.
As a TESOL professor, and in addition to teaching English and linguistics to major and non-major students, he has been involved in several activities in the field such as teacher training, material development, programs evaluation, and graduate students supervision.
Dr. Shehdaeh has got Ph.D. in TESOL and Teacher Ed. From the Ohio State University (USA) and MA in Applied Linguistics from University of Salford (UK). His research interest includes, TEFL, SLA, Assessment and academic development.
