Biography

I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry, Palestine Polytechnic University, an orthodontist, and a researcher with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, academic education, and scientific research.

I earned my dental degree from Al-Quds University, where I subsequently served as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Department of Orthodontics for six years. I later completed a three-year postgraduate residency in orthodontics, obtained the Palestinian Board in Orthodontics, and successfully passed Part A of the Membership in Orthodontics examination (MOrth RCSEd) of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Alongside my academic responsibilities, I maintain an active clinical practice, with experience in managing a wide range of orthodontic cases, including complex malocclusions, impacted teeth, and interdisciplinary dental treatments.

My academic and research interests include orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, craniofacial growth and development, management of impacted teeth, and evidence-based orthodontic practice. I am particularly interested in advancing undergraduate dental education through innovative teaching approaches, case-based learning, and the development of clinical reasoning and interdisciplinary skills.

Through my combined roles as a clinician, educator, and researcher, I aim to contribute to the advancement of orthodontic knowledge, dental education, and evidence-based patient care.
