Khaled Tamizi received the M.Sc. degree in renewable energy and energy efficiency from the University of Kassel, Germany, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in the field control of power converters for renewable energy systems from the University of Paris-Saclay, France, in 2018. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Palestine Polytechnic University. He participates in many national and international training and summer schools in the field of renewable energy systems and control systems. He has published a book Energy saving of HVAC Systems by Using Model Predictive Control (MPC) (Lambert Academic Publishing (LAP)). He received two scholarships, DAAD for a master’s degree and the second French Government scholarship for a Ph.D. degree.
