August,2015---July,2016: Assistant professor of Computer Systems Engineering at the College of Information Technology and Computer Engineering – Palestine Polytechnic University. 

February,2015---September,2015: Post-doctoral (i.e., research assistant) -INSA of Rennes France.

September,2007---April,2012: Teaching assistant - Computer center of Palestine Polytechnic University.

September,2012---June,2015: PhD degree in Computer Engineering (specialized in image and video security) - Nantes University, France.

April,2012---September,2012: Pre-PhD semester in security - Saarland University, Germany.

September,2007---January,2010: Master of Computer and Electronics Engineering degree (specialized in Cryptography) - Al-Quds University, Jerusalem.

January,2002---June,2006: Bachelor degree in Computer Systems Engineering - Palestine Polytechnic University.

My current research interests include Cryptography, Cryptanalysis, Video Security, Image Security, Chaos-based cryptosystems, joint crypto-compression algorithms, system and network security and reliability, IoT security and related topics.
